BAPBT
Broken and Put Back Together
BAPBT is a typeface inspired by Irmgard Emmelhainz’s article titled “Shattering and Healing.” This was made by deconstructing the Arial typeface, followed by reassembling the letters with visible imperfections. Consisting of five families, each family is more broken than the last.

Shatter, Heal (Installation)
It’s human nature for us to isolate ourselves when we’re broken. Rather than being distant, we should not be afraid to reach out to others while we seek to heal. This animation portrays the processes of shattering and healing through the use of letterforms, along with the cyclicality of these processes.
